Battery Care Tips

No battery power / no charging after winter storage, as well as recommendations for winter battery care

Problem Description
If the device has been stored unused throughout the winter and then switches on without battery power, and also does not charge when connected to a charger, this is usually due to a long discharge in idle state and decreasing battery activity.
Recommendations for daily use and winter storage
Before prolonged disuse, always charge the battery to 50–80% before storing the device.
During winter storage, it is recommended to charge the battery every 1–2 months to prevent permanent deep discharge of the battery.
The storage location must be dry and cool. Avoid extreme cold, direct frost, and humid or wet environments.
If the device already has no battery power in winter and does not charge: Avoid repeated forced charging. Contact customer service for battery activation, inspection, or replacement.
